We are currently operating a book and toy library in 6 pre schools in the Pursat district. We are always in need of new books and toys to replace those lost or past their use by date and also to expand our stocks.

Books: In the past our supporters across the world have accessed books through libraries, schools, op shops, Oxfam and personal stocks no longer required. Basically the age group is 3-6 years and we prefer those with a lot of pictures and smaller amounts of text as we have to have them translated manually by our staff. ‘Big books’ are great as they can be used in classes container perhaps 40 children. The key issue for us is getting them to Cambodia but there are options available. If you feel you can help please contact us.

Toys: We are also collecting toys from a variety of sources not unlike those mentioned with the books. Recently one of our returning volunteers has arranged a Wood Turners group and a Men’s Shed in Australia to make toys which he then brought her in two large suitcases. Anything light, durable and not too bulky that promotes fine motor skills would be most appreciated.
